Womble Bond Dickinson Team Expands Networks at 2022 NAPABA Convention

A multi-office Womble Bond Dickinson team represented the firm at the 2022 NAPABA Convention, which took place Nov. 3-6 in Las Vegas. The NAPABA Convention is the largest annual gathering of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students. More than 2,500 attendees took part in this year’s convention.

The WBD delegation included team members from the firm’s new San Francisco office, as well as Houston, Raleigh, Silicon Valley and Winston-Salem, including: Azie Aziz, Tony Chen, Tara Cho, Jamie Chou, Mike Choy, Jason Chu, Kevin Lyn, Karthika Perumal, Gemma Saluta, Chad Tian, Quinlan Tom, Christine Xiao, and Joann Waters.

The group also had a dinner with clients and Immediate Past NAPABA President and retired U.S. Navy Admiral A.B. Cruz. WBD Partner Kevin Lyn, a recent NAPABA Board Member, offered some remarks at the dinner.

In addition, several team members had the chance to participate in the NAPABA Connects program, in which law firm attorneys meet one-on-one with in-house counsel for pitch sessions.
